Election Day a holiday for United Auto Workers

United Auto Workers Local 140 member Johnetta Martin, of Warren, Michigan, speaks with a poll worker before voting in the presidential election at the Owen Jax Recreation Center November 6, 2012 in Warren, Mich.

This final note today, for everybody who snuck out of the office for an hour -- or more -- to vote.

You know who didn't have to sneak out to vote today? Members of the United Auto Workers union, that's who. Turns out UAW members have had Election Day off since 1999. It's in their contract with all three of the Big 3 carmakers.

Go vote, if you haven't already.
