What do home sales have to do with the job market?

When you can sell a house more easily you can go in search of a new job more easily. Domestic migration, when you move from one place in the country to another, plunged in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. Now things are looking up. Existing home sales at their highest level since 2009. The latest monthly data on new home sales comes out this morning.
