Allan Sloan, senior editor-at-large for Fortune magazine, heard something familiar the other day during President Obama’s economic whistlestop tour. It was a hint Obama wants to help homeowners, who are struggling with expensive mortgages, get easy refinancing through the markets. 

Sloan says this proposal could have been ripped straight from the pages of Mitt Romney’s playbook during last year’s campaign. He joins Marketplace Morning Report host David Brancaccio to discuss.
