On Wednesday, the International Olympic Committee is expected to vote on which sports stay or go for the next  Summer Games. Wrestling may be out, rock climbing may be in. But Major League Baseball doesn’t want to take time out of its regular season to play in the Olympics.

McDonald’s is reportedly paring down its menu. That’s according to a recent Bloomberg story that cites email from McDonald’s to some franchisees. McDonald’s sales have been sluggish lately, and a smaller menu could lower costs and speed up service.

With less than four days of trading left in May, investors are not singing the old Wall Street adage “sell in May, then go away.” Juli Niemann, analyst at Smith Moore & Company, joins Marketplace Morning Report host David Brancaccio to explain.
