So just "what jobs" are going to come back?

IT jobs can be done for 1/4 to 1/10 the cost in India... The FINANCIAL SERVICES SECTOR is offshoring - for similar cost advantages - to India and other places.. Manufacturing in CHINA is still growing at a surreal pace... Is the US MANUFACTURING workplace going to equal the $40 a month and 80 hour per workweek that happens in China?

The US Automakers have been ORDERED to restructure - and that means OFFSHORING...

I am sure you can get a bump in employment if the FEDs pump some cash in.. but where are the LONG TERM JOBS that need to be created going to come from?

I don't see where ANYONE has made that prediction with ANY degree of honesty..
