Scott Jagow: The latest jobs numbers come out tomorrow -- job market's not doing so well, as you know. Enter a new wave of online job sites. Here's Renita Jablonski.
Renita Jablonski: There's Workforce50.com, RetirementJobs.com -- even sites like Dinosaur Exchange and RetiredBrains.
Sixty-year-old Ed Treffinger did not plan on spending his retirement surfing the Internet. Reality set in as he looked at his 401K statements.
Ed Treffinger: I've been losing about 10 percent a month on my portfolio.
So he posted his resume online.
Treffinger: Three decades ago -- God that sounds like a long time! -- what you would do is go to the library and go through newspapers.
Gene Burnard is publisher of Workforce50.com. He's seen traffic to his site triple this month.
Gene Burnard: We currently have in our database nearly 100,000 registered job seekers.
RetirementJobs, which partners with AARP, is also seeing more activity than ever.
It lists jobs with companies like Crate and Barrel, Bank of America, and UPS.

I founded RetiredBrains.com in 2003 and yes our traffic is up substantially as more and more retirees seek employment. In this market there are very few opportunities for younger or older workers as far as full time jobs are concerned; however there are many part time and temporary jobs as well as project assignments.
