It's all about the Benjamins: The U.S. debt in perspective

As the debt ceiling debate drags on in Congress, the political whirlwind that's dominated the news can sometimes cloud the reality of the real issue at hand - that our nation has accumulated more than $14 trillion in debt and it continues to grow.

This morning, we came across a fascinating infographic that puts it all into perspective. Los Angeles-based interactive designer Oto Godfry created what might be the most sobering visualization of the nation's credit-card bill.
