Greece, IMF exploring ways to expedite debt reform

Greek Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou met with inspectors from the International Monetary Fund today at the start of a two-week inspection by the IMF into Greece’s financial situation. Officials are looking for ways to speed up the country’s fiscal reforms while European banks continue to fear the potential effects of austerity measures spurred from the debt crisis. European stock markets reflected investors’ concerns as they fell this morning.
