Goldman Sachs looking out for bedbugs

Melissa Kaplan Jun 17, 2010

Just another issue itching at Goldman Sachs: ABC News reports employees at Goldman’s Jersey City, N.J., office tower have had to make way for exterminators spraying for bedbugs. Several floors of the 42-story building were sprayed and inspected by bug-sniffing dogs. The New York City area is engaged in an ongoing battle with the bugs, with cases up over the past year.

A Goldman Sachs spokeswoman denied there was an issue. “We’re always focused on our facilities and there are no issues,” she said. One non-Goldman worked connected with the company’s office tower said Goldman was taking on the issue as a proactive measure.
