About the bailing out home owners, who participated in the bubble and were iressponsible: I just have one comment.

I think doing right things in life is right anymore.

So, GM seems to be putting out a great deal of press about its EV car, but where is it? In the meanwhile, Nissan appears to be the first car company ready with an EV for mass production, and it's out in the first half of this year. The Volt also has been plagued with tremendous production issues, including that embarrassing test run with Frontline, where they had to get the Frontline crew to help push the thing up a hill.

Is the Amercian car company really going to survive? Or, as demonstrated by the recent Toyota press, are the Japanese car companies now really American?

Another term that bit the dust even before "shovel read" and "stimulus" was "green shoots."
