After... After the Bell

We've made the decision to end my weekly podcast, After the Bell. It was a difficult call, but like every company in this economy, we're trying to make the best use of limited resources. This decision will allow me to devote more time to the Scratch Pad and make it the best it can be. We'll still be brainstorming the creation of new podcasts, but for now, this my Brett Favre press conference saying that After the Bell is retired. Thank you for listening, and I hope you'll continue to visit me here at the Scratch Pad. Your participation greatly enhances the discussion!

Thanks for the interesting insight on your show. I found it much more honest than the "fluff" podcasts such as Wall Street Journal This Morning.

Sorry to see a good podcast go since I download directly to my wifi Walkman each day, without turning on the PC.

I will second that ..very informative blog posts..I especially like morning reading.. I also have one suggestion as there are more and more blog posts have some categories or tagging for the posts so that easy to filter and check specific ones to read ..

I'm a huge fan of Scott's work, and while I'm sad to see "After the Bell" go, I'm glad he'll be focusing more on "Scratch Pad." Scott's blog posts are prescient and informative, and he does a great job of fostering discussion about market news and economic policy. I look forward to my "Morning Reading" each work day. To Scott and all the folks at Marketplace: Please keep up the great work!

My heart skipped a beat when I listened to your "Brett Favre press conference." Thank you and your team for "After the Bell." I will miss your "sense" and voice, very much. My schedule is too crowded to squeeze in blogs (I've tried). How does a Scott Jagow fan get notification when that electric perspective again compresses into another great pod-product?

I hope that this a Brett Favre good bye as well, the kind that means that you'll be coming back again and again. I will miss listening to your podcasts, but the scratch pad is so creative and informative. Hopefully you will be part of other podcasts in the future.
