The new track and field uniforms for this year's Olympic games were recently unveiled by Nike.

The big selling point? After wind tunnel testing and more, they are expected to shave up to 0.023 seconds off 100-meter sprint times compared to the suits in Beijing.

Is all that investment really worth getting a hair faster? And what's in it for Nike?
