This final note today, which brings with it the promise of bad news for Oprah Winfrey and her eponymous Oprah Winfrey Network.

Canadian telecommunications regulators say OWN is concentrating too much on food, fitness and beauty and not providing enough educational programming.

Which does bring this question prominently to mind: They knew it was Oprah when they granted the broadcast license, right? I mean, does she do anything besides food, fitness and beauty?
