Hello David Johnson: I am not sure I
heard it right. Did I hear this is your
last Friday night with Market Place?
Why? You have done such a wonderful
commnetary through these past many years. Why leave now, for Heaven's Sake? What will you be doing?
I will miss you. All the Best.

This is the worst thing to happen to National Public Radio since Bob Edwards was sacked. David Johnson's enthusiasm, optimism, and pragmatism make for an always entertaining approach to business dynamics. I looked forward to his weekly sessions, and Marketplace will not be the same once he's gone. Can someone please lean on Mr. Johnson to come back from time to time as a periodic commentator? He has been a joy and delight and will be much missed. David Johnson is public radio.
