Day in the Work Life: An irish tale

The Roadside Tavern is the oldest pub in County Clare; its walls are papered with decades of memorabilia. Here proprietor Peter Curtin poses with the most valuable artifact: a rare mirror advertising Persse's whisky, presented to his family by the Persse's themselves. Only three exist in Ireland -- it's worth tens of thousands of dollars. "I was afraid to put it up at first," says Peter, "In case things got boisterous."
