Songwriter John Cassel lives on a Vermont ranch he bought in 1967. When he's not at work at the Von Trapp Lodge, he's busy writing a musical, set in the 60s, about hippie musicians and local farmers teaming up to fight a ruthless land developer. "I used to say, 'I'm not a hippie - I have a job!'" jokes Cassel. "But I did have hair out to here."
