If you live in a swing state, you might see presidential TV ads run three or four deep during commercial breaks. It doesn't leave much room for other advertising. About $1.6 billion will be spent on political ads this year. Curt Nickisch reports.
Earning a living as an artist is a dicey proposition. A starving artist's life may sound romantic, but it's a lot less appealing when you turn 50 or 60.
