The British are famous for their love of tea - they drink 62 billion cups a year between them, seven times as much per person as Americans. So it's no surprise that they're putting on the kettle to celebrate a special event in tea history, the centenary of the tea bag - an American invention which has helped sustain this $1.2 billion industry.
