Chau Tu is an assistant web producer for Marketplace. She produces the Marketplace website, ensuring the latest content is represented through multiple platforms including scripts, audio, images and blogs.

Before joining Marketplace in 2010 as a web production assistant, Tu was a digital producer for a luxury magazine company. She has also worked as an editorial assistant for the L.A. Times and as a freelance writer. Some of her past writings have appeared in Entertainment Weekly, Angeleno magazine, and she continues to freelance, specializing in pop culture, music and fashion.

Tu graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California, with a degree in print journalism and a minor in communication and the entertainment industry. She is an L.A. native and enjoys rooting for her home teams and exploring the city in her free time.
