Betsy Streisand is senior editor for Marketplace covering health, technology, education. retail, marketing and pop-culture.

Streisand joined Marketplace in 2007. Prior to Marketplace, Streisand worked for more than 20 years at U.S. News & World Report where she was a West Coast senior reporter. Streisand’s first journalism job was as a reporter at USA Today. She joined the paper in 1982, just prior to its launch.

Streisand attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Temple University.

A native of Ardmore, Pa., Streisand is a resident of Los Angeles.
