Can salary transparency lead to equal pay for women?

April 2 is Equal Pay Day, the day when women (on average) catch up with what their male co-workers earned the previous year. A new survey commissioned by the American Association of University Women found that younger women are pushing back against unequal pay by being more transparent about what they’re earning. Advocates for gender equity say it’s a step in the right direction.
