Job losses not all about companies moving abroad
During the presidential election campaign and during his first weeks in office, President Donald Trump has stressed the importance of keeping jobs in America and bringing back jobs that have gone abroad.
But people lose their jobs for a number of reasons — and not always to people in Mexico or China. When businesses move from one state to another, it can have a big impact on local economies, even though the jobs are staying in the U.S.
