Homeland Security reviews use of private detention centers
A subcommittee of the Homeland Security Advisory Council will release a report today reviewing the use of private immigration detention centers. The Obama administration announced in August that the Bureau of Prisons will stop using private prisons for federal inmates. Ending privatized detention centers is a whole different equation.
