Overstock has employees stocked for the End of Days
For those who’re worried corporate America isn’t ready for the End of Days, I give you Overstock.com.
The company has, according to senior executives and regulatory filings, a 30-day supply of food for each employee and one family member. And also enough gold and silver to make payroll for a while.
Of course, live by the market, die by the market. The company said in a filing with the SEC earlier this month that the global precious metals slump hit ’em hard. What used to be almost $11 million in gold and silver is now just $10.2 million.
