Subway’s foot-long sandwiches are actually gonna have to be 12 inches.

The company has settled a lawsuitagreeing to make their subs the advertised length. The lawsuit was prompted by pictures that went viral showing a foot-long sub coming in at an inch short.

The whole thing turned into a class-action lawsuit, culminating in hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees — all for an inch of sandwich.
