Update: The state’s governor announced early Monday morning that the water ban in parts of West Virginia has been partially lifted.

For a fifth straight day, people in and around Charleston, West Virginia can’t drink their tap water, or wash with it. State officials are hoping to lift the water ban soon. The water was contaminated by a chemical spill last week.

Marketplace’s Nancy Marshall Genzer, joins Marketplace Morning Report host David Brancaccio to discuss the updates and give more info on the company behind the spill.
