Correction: An earlier version of this article misnamed the interviewee. U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) responded about whether or not he plans to run for president in 2016. The text has been corrected.

One Republican senator who doesn’t want to raise taxes at all as part of a deal to avoid the fiscal cliff is Rand Paul of Kentucky. He joins us to share his thoughts on the ongoing negotiations and why spending cuts are necessary.
