Drones can now follow you anywhere. Even to the North Pole.

Jeff Horwich May 31, 2012

Guess I’m not positive about the North Pole… but why not? Northrup Grumman has modified its Global Hawk drone for the Canadian government to create a version that can de-ice its own wings and engine, and communicate even where satellite coverage is spotty (as it is in the Arctic).

From the deserts of Yemen to the frozen north of Canada, looks like Northrup Grumman’s got you covered. Goodie.
