The entrance to the Kodak Theatre is shown, on Hollywood Boulevard, in Los Angeles, Calif. Kodak said today that it can no longer afford to have its name on the theater. -

This final note today, two items from the world of bankruptcy court.

First of all, American Airlines. We learned today parent company AMR -- which is in Chapter 11 -- has asked for permission to cut 13,000 jobs and eliminate a couple of employee pension plans.

Also, Kodak. The company said in a filing this week it can't afford the "significant annual fee" to keep its name on the Kodak Theater in Hollywood. That's where the Oscars are.
