Prototype iPhone 5 "lost at a bar"

John Moe Sep 1, 2011

One time’s an anomaly, two times is a pattern. This happened before the iPhone 4 came out too, which resulted in said phone being sold to Gizmodo who released pics and specs and were then taken to court by Apple. This time out, the Apple employee had the phone at a Mexican restaurant bar and left it behind. It may have then been sold on Craig’s List for $200. Apple then allegedly reported it to the police.
I don’t know. This smells fishy. I mean, not that Apple needs publicity for the new iPhone but it all seems too perfect, don’t you think?

This is also on the heels of a prototype Macbook being sold on eBay last week.
