WikiLeaks gets hacked. World Irony Association endorses action.

Marc Sanchez Aug 31, 2011

WikiLeaks is back up although running a bit slow now, this after being the target of a denial of service attack. The attack evidently is a result of the leak we told you about yesterday where State Department emails with unredacted names were shared online after Assange gave some dude the password. Whoops. Reuters adds this nugget: “Several news organizations around the world, including Reuters, have had complete sets of the cables for months. But for the most part, media outlets have only cited or published cables when publishing specific news or investigative stories based on them.”
