Suddenly, HP TouchPads are selling like hotcakes!

John Moe Aug 22, 2011

Heavily discounted TouchPads that nobody wanted. Brisk sales are being reported after the now-canceled TouchPad got marked down from $399 to a clearance price of $99. For that price you get what’s actually supposed to be a pretty good tablet computer although one that will never have an app built for it again aside from occasional instances of irony or as an art installation. Best Buy apparently decided to pull the things from its shelves and send them all back to HP but then changed their mind and started selling them for that bargain price but limiting it to one per customer.

Gizmodo says buy one!
