Amsterdam GPS company Tom Tom sold customer data to a handful of European governments. One of those governments gave data to its police force who then used the data to set up speed traps. Tom Tom says it thought the governments would use the data to learn more about traffic jams and how they should build roads. Tom Tom is telling its users, Sorry.
