Saving money, one Valentine’s Day card at a time

I’m the producer for Getting Personal, so I talk to a LOT of people every week about all sorts of things: saving money, improving their credit score, student loans. But every once and a while I get what I call a listener crush, where I just fall for people.

Last week that call came from Jim and Judy from Bloomington, Minn. They are just incredible. Married for 43 years, they wrote in with a question asking when is it OK to STOP squirreling money away for a rainy day.
