Free in-flight Facebook in February

John Moe Feb 1, 2011

Courtesy of the American Alliteration Association! Not really. Seven US carriers will let you get on Facebook for free this month. Virgin America, United, American Airlines, Delta, AirTran, US Airways, and Alaska Airlines are offering the deal. Of course, if you want to get on the rest of the internet (“BUT WHY WOULD YOU?” – Zuckerberg) , it’s going to cost you $5 on a short flight or $13 for a long flight. In-flight wi-fi tends to be slower and clunkier than regular access but still: wi-fi on a plane!
