Apple glitch makes me grumpy, disoriented

John Moe Jan 3, 2011

It was a frantic morning in the Moe household. First day back at school, first day back at work of the new year. I set my alarm as normal, on my iPhone, but woke on my own 40 minutes after the alarm should have gone off. Much rushing around commenced, grumpy kids shoved off to school still half asleep. This was because of another glitch in iPhone software that has caused alarms not to work since the start of the new year. Even for people like me who have the latest software installed. This same sort of issue came up in November for Daylight Saving Time. Apparently, the company that can make an amazingly powerful computer that fits in the palm of your hand cannot master A CLOCK. Apple says the whole thing should be fixed by tomorrow. Which is really helpful. Thanks a lot, Apple. Jerks.
