On Thursday, the US Department of Justice announced the latest in the case of the CAPTCHA ticket snatchers. Three men have pleaded guilty on charges they used a a nationwide network of computers that impersonated human beings who were trying to buy good seats to Springsteen shows, tapings of Dancing with the Stars and other hot-ticket items. They hired Bulgarian programmers to build the network and have gotten about 1.5 million tickets from Ticketmaster and other sites. The fourth guy involved in this scam is still at large.
