The Dallas Cowboys lose on field, in the IT office

John Moe Nov 10, 2010

I know we have double geeking going on with public radio and tech here but for a moment, let’s talk football. The Dallas Cowboys are in the midst of a terrible season. They’ve won only one game, they fired their head coach, their quarterback is injured. And to make matters worse, they FORGOT to renew the domain name dallascowboys.com. As the team was unraveling before the Green Bay Packers Sunday, visitors to the site saw a picture of two boys playing soccer along with a message that said the domain (which expired November 2nd) was for sale. The bill is now paid and the site is back up.
