On today’s show, we had stories about new technologies coming to your car, from “talking” automobiles to security systems. There was also news about a new Internet browser called RockMelt that is aimed at making all your social networking a little bit easier. Also on the technology front, Amazon.com apparently now sells diapers. Jennifer Collins reported on what this move might mean. The Supreme Court will be looking at whether class-action lawsuits can be filed if there’s an arbitration clause involved. Stacey Vanek Smith reported on the current status of U.S. trade policy, and what President Obama wants to do about the fall of the American consumer. And Kai chatted with author Paul Auster about his named book on how the financial crisis affected people, “Sunset Park: A Novel.” And here are the songs we played:

  • A Day at the Carnival – Dam-FunkBuy
  • No Cars Go – Arcade FireBuy
  • Ambling Alp – YeasayerBuy
  • Alice Marble Gray – CalifoneBuy
