How long can the U.S. remain a financial superpower? Eric Weiner, author of “The Shadow Market: How a Group of Wealthy Nations and Powerful Investors Dominate the World,” believes the power is already shifting away to wealthier nations. Speaking of wealthy, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg made it onto Forbe’s latest list of richest Americans, and as Amy Scott reports, he’s already planning on writing a big check for public schools in New Jersey. Meanwhile, the new health care provisions covering young adults go into effect today, and Gregory Warner looks into what this means for the insurance companies. Also, the labor movement goes after the unemployed vote, diabetes drug Avandia comes under fire, and Republicans are trying to cancel the stimulus. Here are the songs we played:

  • Oscillate Wildly – The SmithsBuy
  • Tell Yer Mama – Norah JonesBuy
  • She Moves in Colors – SyntaksBuy
  • O.N.E. – YeasayerBuy
  • Three Shades – NomoBuy
