Final Note

It’s not just the $300,000 price tag that hurts

This final note today. Another auto recall to tell you about. Seems like they just keep coming, doesn’t it? It’s a potential hazard to pedestrians this time. Bentley’s recalling 1,400 cars worldwide. Seems the hood ornaments are faulty. The big silver letter Bs with wings on ’em are supposed to retract automatically if a pedestrian bumps into them. They’re pretty big, so you could see how they’re hurt if you hit ’em. Average price tag for a Bentley? Somewhere north of $300,000. You’d figure for that kind of cash, they’d get it right the first time.
