On today’s show, we hear from teenagers shopping with abandon and then posting videos of their “hauls” online. “Never Can Get Enough” from the London Funk Allstars seemed a fitting track to follow. The electronic song “My Piano” from Hot Chip’s DJ Kicks compilation comes out of our interview about iPhone glitches. Tortoise plays “Salt the Sky” after our story about desalination. And dreams and debt post-college inspired the choice of Stars’ song “The Beginning After the End.” I played with some different bridges to come out of the commentary about anarchy in the boardroom. I finally settled on the DIY band Fugazi–simply because I like any chance to play Fugazi. What song would you have chosen?
