For just $100, you too can join the iPhone 4 line

And so it was written that you shall know the iPhone 4 cometh when the lines start to form. Apple zealots have been lining up all week from San Francisco to Tokyo, camped out in every imaginable fashion. But if you couldn’t spare the time to wait in line, you can always find a way to weasel yourself in — some are even selling the fruits of their waiting, including one San Franciscan with a hallowed number one spot in line at the Apple store. He’s been waiting in front of the store since Monday.

Our overnight studio engineer Vahan is on the fence about whether to buy an iPhone now or wait for Verizon service (the office pool says he’ll cave by August), but in one of his weaker moments he did manage to find someone on Craigslist selling his #15 spot at the Beverly Hills Apple Store. He wanted about $100, which is really a bargain for getting Vahan to calm down.
